R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Jamie Wilson is indeed deserving of recognition for |
|
|
the outstanding service he has provided to his community in his |
|
|
capacity as superintendent of the Denton Independent School |
|
|
District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In a job that requires strong public support and |
|
|
effective collaboration with the members of the school board, |
|
|
Dr. Wilson has worked tirelessly to promote academic achievement, |
|
|
to advance the overall quality of the district's schools, and to |
|
|
ensure the best possible instruction and resources for pupils; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to the students, |
|
|
faculty, and staff of Denton ISD, Jamie Wilson has led the way in |
|
|
fostering a supportive and challenging educational environment |
|
|
that equips young people with the knowledge and skills that will |
|
|
help them to build productive lives; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Superintendent |
|
|
Jamie Wilson for his admirable service to the Denton Independent |
|
|
School District and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
