R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Jim Porter is serving as a member of the Pilot Point |
|
|
City Council and he is indeed deserving of recognition for his |
|
|
outstanding contributions to the community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In his role with the Pilot Point City Council, |
|
|
Mr. Porter partners closely with other council members to ensure |
|
|
that constituent needs are met and the city's goals, including |
|
|
infrastructure improvements and other major projects, are |
|
|
achieved; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts |
|
|
of Jim Porter are helping to make Pilot Point an even better place |
|
|
in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Jim Porter for his |
|
|
service to the City of Pilot Point and extend to him sincere |
|
|
appreciation for his outstanding service to the community; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Porter as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
