R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Morgan Unwin has been named valedictorian of the |
|
Class of 2017 at Sanford-Fritch High School, and she indeed merits |
|
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as the |
|
top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Unwin demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Justin and Heather Unwin, Ms. Unwin |
|
gained the opportunity to address her fellow seniors at |
|
commencement and to reflect on their shared history as well as their |
|
hopes and ambitions; and |
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Sanford-Fritch High, Morgan |
|
Unwin earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and |
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Morgan Unwin, |
|
valedictorian of the Class of 2017 at Sanford-Fritch High School, |
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she |
|
begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Unwin as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
