R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Morgan Unwin has been named valedictorian of the
  Class of 2017 at Sanford-Fritch High School, and she indeed merits
  special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; in securing her place as the
  top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Unwin demonstrated a thorough
  understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of
  this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
  high school career; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Justin and Heather Unwin, Ms. Unwin
  gained the opportunity to address her fellow seniors at
  commencement and to reflect on their shared history as well as their
  hopes and ambitions; and
         WHEREAS, During her years at Sanford-Fritch High, Morgan
  Unwin earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and
  classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment
  to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future
  for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Morgan Unwin,
  valedictorian of the Class of 2017 at Sanford-Fritch High School,
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
  begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Unwin as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
