R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Hunter René Heck has been named valedictorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2017 at Panhandle High School, and she indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Heck demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Derek and René Heck, Ms. Heck gained |
|
|
the opportunity to address her fellow seniors at commencement and |
|
|
to reflect on their shared history as well as their hopes and |
|
|
ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Panhandle High, Hunter René Heck |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Hunter René |
|
|
Heck, valedictorian of the Class of 2017 at Panhandle High School, |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she |
|
|
begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Heck as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
