R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
  the tragic loss of Caleb Spencer Neal of Waxahachie, who passed away
  on June 30, 2017, at the age of 22; and
         WHEREAS, The beloved son of Richard Neal and Winnie Neal,
  Mr. Neal was born in Dallas on June 3, 1995, and he grew up with the
  companionship of his brother, Matthew, and his sister, Tiffany; he
  graduated in 2014 from Waxahachie High School, where he was
  salutatorian of his class, a member of the National Honor Society,
  and a three-year drum major in the band; at the time of his passing,
  he was pursuing an engineering degree at Texas Tech University and
  had plans to attend seminary to earn a master's degree in worship
  ministry; and
         WHEREAS, Deeply committed to his faith, Mr. Neal lived a life
  of joy and treated others with unfailing kindness and respect; a
  valued member of the Waxahachie Bible Church, he served with its
  children, youth, and worship ministries, and he also participated
  in the college worship band at First Baptist Church in Lubbock; and
         WHEREAS, Caleb Neal immeasurably enriched the lives of all
  who had the good fortune to share in his love and friendship, and
  they will forever carry him close in their hearts; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of Caleb Spencer Neal and extend deepest condolences to his loved
  ones and to his many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Caleb Neal.
