Relating to procedures and eligibility for terminating participation in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas deferred retirement option plan.

SB 531        Campbell | et al.
Relating to the application of foreign laws and foreign forum selection in a proceeding involving marriage, a suit for dissolution of a marriage, or a suit affecting the parent-child relationship in this state.

SB 982        Bettencourt
Relating to acceptable forms of identification for voting for certain persons.

SB 1022       Uresti
Relating to an unsworn declaration made by a private process server in the performance of the server's job duties.

SB 1299       Hall
Relating to rules adopted by the Texas Ethics Commission relating to lobbyists or the reporting of political contributions or expenditures.

SB 1862       Burton
Relating to the use by a political subdivision of public money for lobbying activities or lobbyists; creating a criminal offense.

SB 1940       Huffman
Relating to contributions to, benefits from, and the administration of systems and programs administered by Teacher Retirement System of Texas.

SB 2065       Estes
Relating to the rights of certain religious organizations and individuals relating to a marriage that violates a sincerely held religious belief.

SJR 8         Zaffirini
Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to require a court to provide notice to the attorney general of a challenge to the constitutionality of a state statute and authorizing the legislature to prescribe a waiting period before the court may enter a judgment holding the statute unconstitutional.

At the Chair's discretion, the committee may also consider pending business.
