The committee will meet to take invited testimony on single portal procurement and audit compliance systems.  After invited testimony, the following bills will be heard:

Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to provide for an exemption from ad valorem taxation of certain property owned by research technology corporations created by public or private institutions of higher education to develop and commercialize technologies owned by the institutions.

HB 208        Leach                  
Relating to the applicability of project design and construction requirements to agencies or instrumentalities of, or agreements between, governmental entities subject to those requirements.

HB 763        King, Susan            
Relating to a petition to a state agency for adoption of rules.

HB 1410       Miles | et al.         
Relating to consideration of a bidder's principal place of business by public junior college districts in awarding certain contracts.

HB 1426       Elkins                 
Relating to certain requirements applicable to contracts entered into by, and the contract management process of, state agencies.

HB 1743       Galindo | et al.       
Relating to the use of a credit or charge card by certain state agencies to make certain purchases.

HB 2368       Turner, Chris          
Relating to the availability of state agency contracting information on the comptroller's Internet website.

HB 3345       Elkins                 
Relating to state contracting and management, and the establishment of a centralized purchasing, vendor management, contract audit and transparency system for state agencies.
