Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 10, 2015, and permission granted on March 10, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at 11:07 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Pickett; Martinez, "Mando"; Burkett; Davis, Yvonne; Fletcher; Israel; Murr; Paddie; and Phillips.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

HB 80

 

The chair laid out HB 80 as pending business.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Martinez, "Mando" moved that HB 80, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Pickett; Martinez, "Mando"; Burkett; Davis, Yvonne; Fletcher; Israel; Murr; Paddie; Phillips (9).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Harless; McClendon; Simmons (3).

 

At 11:10 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
