Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on February 23, 2015, and permission granted on February 23, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative McClendon, at 3:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives McClendon; Kacal; Alvarado; Blanco; Button; Faircloth; Murr; Rodriguez, Justin; Rose; and Sheffield.

 

A quorum was present.

Representative Rose moved to place the following measures on the Congratulatory and Memorial Resolutions Calendar for Thursday, February 26, 2015:  HR 27, HR 61, HR 213, HR 245, HR 250, HR 256, HR 258, HR 271, HR 275, HR 278, HR 279, HR 280, HR 451.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives McClendon; Kacal; Alvarado; Bell; Blanco; Button; Faircloth; Murr; Rodriguez, Justin; Rose; Sheffield (11).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        None (0).

 

At 3:10 p.m., on the motion of Representative McClendon and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
