Pursuant to a notice posted on September 7, 2016, revised on September 26, 2016, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips, at 10:07 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phillips; Nevárez; Burns; Dale; Metcalf; White, Molly; and Wray.

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representatives Guillen and Lucio III were also present.

 

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded on the subject of Border Operations, Safety, and Security.  (See attached witness list.)

 

 

At 3:38 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
