Pursuant to a notice posted on February 27, 2015, and permission granted on March 4, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Natural Resources met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Keffer, at 2:04 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Keffer; Burns; Frank; King, Tracy O.; Larson; Lucio III; Nevárez; and Workman.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on Special Water Districts: Representative Larson, Chair; Representatives Burns; Kacal; King, Tracy O.; and Nevárez.

 

The chair referred HB 30 to the subcommittee on Special Water Districts.

 

The chair referred HB 835 to the subcommittee on Special Water Districts.

 

The chair referred HB 836 to the subcommittee on Special Water Districts.

 

The committee took invited testimony from the Texas Water Development Board.
