Pursuant to a notice posted on March 13, 2015, and with  permission granted on March 18, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Government Transparency & Operation met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Elkins, at 3:59 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Elkins; Galindo; Gonzales, Larry; and Gutierrez.

Representative Gutierrez moved that HB 288, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
