CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On April 29, 2015, the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics held on April 23, 2015. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on April 17, 2015, the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kuempel, at 6:43 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Kuempel; Davis, Sarah; Moody; and Turner, Chris.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

Representative  Kuempel moved that the April 16, 2015 minutes for the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

HB 3789

 

The chair laid out HB 3789.

 

The chair recognized Representative Geren to explain HB 3789.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

The chair recognized Representative Geren to close on HB 3789.

 

(Representative Larson now present.)

 

Representative Larson moved that HB 3789, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Kuempel; Davis, Sarah; Larson; Moody; Turner, Chris (5).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Collier; Hunter (2).

 

HB 1295

 

The chair laid out HB 1295 as pending business.

 

Representative Davis, Sarah moved that HB 1295, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Kuempel; Davis, Sarah; Larson; Moody; Turner, Chris (5).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Collier; Hunter (2).

 

At 6:47 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
