CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On March 25, 2015, the House Committee on Investments & Financial Services authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Investments & Financial Services held on March 18, 2015. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on March 13, 2015, and permission granted on March 18, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Investments & Financial Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Parker, at 5:40 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Parker; Capriglione; Flynn; Landgraf; Pickett; and Stephenson.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair directed that the minutes reflect that on March 10th, the chair named the following members to the subcommittee on State and Local Bonded Indebtedness: Representative Capriglione, Chair; Representatives Flynn; Landgraf; Longoria; and Stephenson and referred the following bills to the subcommittee on State and Local Bonded Indebtedness: HB 114, HB 156, HB 1378, and HB 1399. 

 

HB 831

 

The chair laid out HB 831.

 

The chair recognized Representative Giddings to explain HB 831.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

The chair recognized Representative Giddings to close on HB 831.

 

HB 831 was left pending without objection.

 

HB 870

 

The chair laid out HB 870.

 

The chair recognized Representative Smith to explain HB 870.

 

Representative Pickett offered a complete committee substitute.
