Pursuant to a notice posted on March 26, 2015, and permission granted on March 30, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Morrison, at 8:15 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Morrison; Rodriguez, Eddie; Isaac; Kacal; King, Ken; King, Phil; Reynolds; and Thompson, Ed.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 1794 as pending business.

 

Representative King, Phil offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair recognized Representative Geren to explain the measure.
