Pursuant to a notice posted on May 8, 2015, the House Committee on Economic & Small Business Development met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Button, at 8:02 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Button; Johnson; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Faircloth; Isaac; Metcalf; Villalba; and Vo.

The chair laid out SB 100.

 

The chair recognized Representative Murphy to explain SB 100.

The chair laid out SB 601, the Senate companion to HB 1440.

 

Representative Isaac moved that SB 601, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
