Pursuant to a notice posted on March 13, 2015, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 9:00 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Lucio III; Alonzo; Cook; Davis, Sarah; Geren; Giddings; Harless; Huberty; Johnson; King, Ken; Price; and Riddle.

Representative Cook moved to place the following measures: 

 

on the Emergency Calendar for Wednesday, March 18, 2015:  HB 11.

Pursuant to Rule 3, Section 4(2) and Rule 6, Section 16(f) of the House Rules, the House Committee on Calendars proposes the following rule governing floor consideration of House Bill 11:

 

“Section 1. All original amendments that will be offered during second reading consideration of the bill must be filed with the chief clerk by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.”

 

Representative Geren moved to adopt the proposed rule for floor consideration on HB 11. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
