Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 13, 2015, and permission granted on May 13, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Oliveira, at 2:50 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Oliveira; Simmons; Collier; Fletcher; Rinaldi; Romero, Jr.; and Villalba.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The chair directed that the April 28, 2015 minutes for the House Committee on Business & Industry be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

 

HB 1668

 

The chair laid out HB 1668 as pending business.

 

Representative Simmons moved that HB 1668, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Oliveira; Simmons; Fletcher; Rinaldi; Villalba (5).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Collier; Romero, Jr. (2).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        None (0).

 

At 2:52 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
