IN RE:
HB923 by Flynn (Relating to the issuance of 36th Infantry Division specialty license plates.), As Passed 2nd House
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue specialty license plates for persons who have served in the 36th Infantry Division of the Texas Army National Guard.
There would be no fee for a regular set of the new specialty plates. Based on the information provided by the DMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
