No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to indicate handgun proficiency for purposes of obtaining a concealed handgun license may be demonstrated with a handgun of .22 caliber or above. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing Department of Public Safety resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
