R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Members of the West Texas A&M University Enactus
  team visited the State Capitol on January 29, 2015, to film footage
  for their documentary on synthetic drugs; and
         WHEREAS, On that day, the team interviewed State
  Representative Four Price and his staff on his work in preventing
  the sale and consumption of synthetic drugs in Texas, and it also
  filmed the Borger Youth Advisory Council delivering resolutions
  denouncing the harmful substances to legislative offices; the
  footage is featured in the team's upcoming documentary, the trailer
  of which premiered at the 2015 Enactus United States National
  Exposition in St. Louis; and
         WHEREAS, Members of the WTAMU Enactus team who participated
  in the Capitol visit are Fatima Barrera, Veronica Carrillo, Haley
  Gouard, Taylor Vampran, Ashley Russell, Kelsey Pruett, Shelby
  Walker, Valena Perez, Dayren Tolliver, Nick Lynch, Jose Ramirez,
  Mario Rodriguez, Juan Paiz, Elliott Teller, Dustin Ratheal, Adriana
  Gallegos, and Emily Gross; and
         WHEREAS, Through their film, these dedicated activists are
  raising public awareness of a serious issue facing the Lone Star
  State, and it is a pleasure to recognize them for their
  public-spiritedness; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the West Texas A&M University
  Enactus team on its documentary about the dangers of synthetic
  drugs and extend to its members sincere best wishes for the future;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
