R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Taylor Chase Bentley has been named salutatorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2015 at Amarillo High School, and she indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Bentley demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for her hard work, Ms. Bentley has gained the |
|
|
opportunity to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to |
|
|
reflect on their shared history as well as their hopes and |
|
|
ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Penni and Chad Bentley, Taylor Chase |
|
|
Bentley has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Taylor Chase Bentley, salutatorian |
|
|
of the Class of 2015 at Amarillo High School, and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Bentley as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
