R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Taylor Chase Bentley has been named salutatorian of
  the Class of 2015 at Amarillo High School, and she indeed merits
  special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; Ms. Bentley demonstrated a thorough
  understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of
  this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
  high school career; and
         WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being
  recognized for her hard work, Ms. Bentley has gained the
  opportunity to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to
  reflect on their shared history as well as their hopes and
  ambitions; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Penni and Chad Bentley, Taylor Chase
  Bentley has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and
  classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment
  to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future
  for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Taylor Chase Bentley, salutatorian
  of the Class of 2015 at Amarillo High School, and extend to her
  sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next
  exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Bentley as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
