R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Julia Tisch has ably served her fellow Texans as a
  student intern in the office of State Representative Four Price;
  and
         WHEREAS, Joining the staff for a week during her Spring Break
  from Round Rock High School, Ms. Tisch provided vital assistance in
  handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to
  learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing
  citizens of the Lone Star State, she gained valuable experience in
  the field of public service; as a part of her duties, she drafted
  press releases, prepared requests for committee hearings, and
  helped analyze legislation for Representative Price; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Tisch is a member of the 2015 graduating class
  of Round Rock High School, where she was a member of the National
  Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and the Tri-M Music
  Honor Society; excelling in the classroom, she earned Advanced
  Placement Scholar honors as well as multiple RRHS Academic Awards;
  she was a fixture in the school band throughout her high school
  career, performing at numerous prestigious events across the
  country and serving as both junior drum major and head drum major
  for the marching band; moreover, after garnering such accolades as
  Outstanding Symphonic Band Member and Outstanding Conductor for her
  efforts leading the ensemble, she enjoyed the privilege of marching
  with the RRHS band at the 2015 Rose Bowl Parade; and
         WHEREAS, Outside of school, Ms. Tisch is active in the
  Eucharistic ministry and the youth group at Saint Vincent de Paul
  Catholic Church; she plans to major in political science at Texas
  A&M University and eventually pursue a law degree; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a student intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Julia Tisch for her service as a student
  intern in the office of State Representative Four Price and extend
  to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Tisch as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
