R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Kaska Watson celebrated a significant milestone in
  her life in May 2015, when she graduated from The University of
  Texas at Austin with a master of public health degree in
  epidemiology; and
         WHEREAS, In the course of undertaking the rigorous graduate
  curriculum, Ms. Watson acquired a wealth of knowledge and skills in
  the core disciplines of public health as well as an expertise in
  epidemiology; furthermore, she participated in a global health
  program through The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston
  in the summer of 2014, researching mosquitoes in the Dominican
  Republic to help increase the scientific community's understanding
  of the chikungunya virus; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Watson earned a bachelor's degree in allied
  health with a minor in psychology from Texas A&M University in 2011;
  during the 84th Legislative Session, she served as a part-time
  policy analyst for the House Committee on Public Health; and
         WHEREAS, Kaska Watson has proven herself to be an outstanding
  scholar and researcher, and her impressive achievements have earned
  her the lasting respect of her peers, her family, and her friends;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Kaska Watson on her receipt of a
  master of public health degree in epidemiology from The University
  of Texas at Austin and extend to her sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Watson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
