R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, In recognition of her notable academic and athletic
  achievements, Annika Kailyn Gunderson graduates Summa Cum Laude
  from Clear Falls High School on June 4th, 2015;and
         WHEREAS, a result of her hard work and continued diligence,
  Ms. Gunderson is the only athlete in the history of the Clear Falls
  High School golf program to win the Knight Award, given for
  exemplary leadership, in two consecutive years; and
         WHEREAS, in her freshman year at Clear Falls High School
  (2011-2012) she varsity lettered in Science Fair and contributed to
  the first ever Clear Falls Girls Golf 4A District Championship; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Gunderson varsity lettered in golf in 2013 and
  was ranked the best played on her team in her junior and senior
  years at Clear Falls High School; and
         WHEREAS, through her pursuit of knowledge and love for
  science, Ms. Gunderson won 1st place at Clear Falls High School
  science fair, 2nd place at the CCISD District Science Fair, and 3rd
  at the Houston City Science Fair with her 2011 high school science
  fair project, "Is Commercially Available Bottled Water Safe to Use
  with Contact Lenses?," and In 2012 she placed 2nd at the CCISD
  District Science Fair and was a Grand Award Nominee with her
  project, "Eye Drop Drug Resistance,"; and
         WHEREAS, exhibiting a talent in both science and art,
  Ms. 
  Gunderson attended the Science Magnet Program at Seabrook
  Intermediate School, was nominated for the American Legion Award in
  2009, and won two blue ribbon awards in Rodeo Art and was invited to
  display her paintings in the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Gunderson has grown into a responsible,
  intelligent, and driven young lady of whom her sister, Bristol and
  her parents, Sam and Charlise are very proud; now, therefore be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Annika Kailyn Gunderson for
  graduating Summa Cum Laude and in the top 5 percent of Clear Falls
  High School Class of 2015 and on her acceptance into the Baylor
  University Class of 2019; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Gunderson as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
