R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Samantha Rago has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
an intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody during the |
|
|
84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rago has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |
|
|
addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of El Paso and a 2012 graduate of Coronado |
|
|
High School, Ms. Rago currently is pursuing a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
political communications at The University of Texas at Austin, and |
|
|
she hopes to attend law school after completing her undergraduate |
|
|
studies; active within her college community, she is a member of the |
|
|
Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity and the Alpha Lambda Delta and |
|
|
Phi Eta Sigma honor societies at UT; in her leisure time, she enjoys |
|
|
spending time outdoors, exercising, and wake surfing; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Samantha Rago for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rago as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
