R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kathleen Reid has earned a KENS5/San Antonio Credit |
|
|
Union ExCEL award and the title of Edgewood ISD Teacher of the Year |
|
|
for 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A social studies instructor at Memorial High School |
|
|
since 1993, Ms. Reid is dedicated to helping her students reach |
|
|
their highest potential; from listening to their concerns to giving |
|
|
advice about college or writing letters of recommendation, she is |
|
|
known to always offer her unreserved support; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Reid has further benefited her school through |
|
|
her efforts as a sponsor and coach of extracurricular activities |
|
|
and as the school's graduation coordinator; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The influence of an educator extends far beyond the |
|
|
walls of the classroom and the duration of the school year, and |
|
|
Kathleen Reid has worked to instill in her students a lifelong love |
|
|
of learning that will serve them well in every aspect of their |
|
|
lives; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kathleen Reid on earning a |
|
|
KENS5/San Antonio Credit Union ExCEL award and the title of 2015 |
|
|
Edgewood ISD Teacher of the Year and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success with her important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Reid as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
