R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and a host of friends will forever treasure
  their memories of Richard Louis Anderson of Burkburnett, who passed
  away on April 13, 2015, at the age of 78; and
         WHEREAS, Richard Anderson was born in Lowell, Massachusetts,
  on November 11, 1936, to William and Rose Berube Anderson; he was a
  member of the United States Air Force for 10 years, and he exchanged
  wedding vows with his wife, the former Francyne McClendon, at a
  chapel on Sheppard Air Force Base near Wichita Falls on April 27,
  1956; and
         WHEREAS, A proud Texan by choice, Mr. Anderson was the owner
  of A-5 Feed & Farm Supply in Magnolia, where he enjoyed a warm
  rapport with his employees and customers; his desire to serve his
  fellow citizens led to his election to the Magnolia City Council,
  and he also benefited the community as president of the Magnolia
  Independent School District Board of Trustees and as a member of the
  Greater Magnolia Chamber of Commerce; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson found particular fulfillment in
  assisting members of the Magnolia FFA and Ag Support Group, and he
  had the honor of being recognized by the local Masonic Lodge with
  the Community Builders Award, an accolade that is rarely given to
  nonmembers; and
         WHEREAS, Above all else, Mr. Anderson deeply cherished his
  wife and family, which included his children, Karen, Richard, and
  David, and his grandchildren and great-grandson; moreover, he made
  many close and lasting friends through the years and counted his
  customers and employees among them; and
         WHEREAS, Richard Anderson was an engaged citizen, a
  successful businessman, and a devoted family man, and he will long
  be remembered with great admiration and affection by all those who
  were fortunate enough to know him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Richard Louis
  Anderson and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family:
  to his wife, Francyne Anderson; to his children, Karen, Richard and
  his wife, Julie, and David and his wife, Lilly; to his
  grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, Michelle, Justin Frank, Tyler, and
  Sharon; to his great-grandson, Ivan; to his sister, Maureen Dube,
  and her husband, Dick; to his sister-in-law, Gillis Carroll, and
  her husband, Bob; to his nieces and nephews, Debra Burke, Robin
  Anderson, Harry Raymond, Michael Raymond, Johnny Fortin, Holly
  Carroll Lobaugh, and Josh Carroll; and to his other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Richard
  Anderson.
