R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Five deserving individuals have been named to the |
|
|
2015 4-H Shooting Sports Texas Shotgun Team, and this |
|
|
accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the Shotgun Team are chosen based on a |
|
|
range of factors that includes their previous experience in 4-H |
|
|
Shooting Sports projects as well as their involvement in other |
|
|
activities, both inside and outside of 4-H; these exemplary Texans |
|
|
make up one of nine squads who will represent the state at the 2015 |
|
|
4-H Shooting Sports National Invitational taking place June 21 |
|
|
through 26 in Grand Island, Nebraska; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Hailing from locations across Texas, the members of |
|
|
the Shotgun Team include Chance Hunsaker of Nueces County 4-H, |
|
|
Brandon Hobbs of Callahan County 4-H, Tara Creighton of Madison |
|
|
County 4-H, and Melissa Barringer and Rachel Barringer of Victoria |
|
|
County 4-H; this dedicated group of shooters benefits from the |
|
|
expertise and encouragement of coach Richard Hodge of Guadalupe |
|
|
County 4-H; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the 4-H Shooting Sports Texas Shotgun |
|
|
Team are fitting representatives of the Lone Star State, and they |
|
|
may take justifiable pride in earning a place among the other top |
|
|
4-H shooters from around the nation; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the 2015 4-H |
|
|
Shooting Sports Texas Shotgun Team and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for success at the national invitational; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
