R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cathy Duong of Highland Park Elementary has been |
|
|
named a 2014-2015 Campus Teacher of the Year by the Pflugerville |
|
|
Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education provides young Texans with the |
|
|
tools they need to become successful and productive adults, and |
|
|
those men and women who dedicate their careers to teaching are |
|
|
helping to ensure that the future of the Lone Star State rests in |
|
|
capable hands; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and |
|
|
mentors, the best teachers bring to the classroom creativity, |
|
|
energy, and resourcefulness, inspiring in their students a love of |
|
|
learning that will serve them well throughout their lives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cathy Duong exemplifies the qualities that are the |
|
|
hallmarks of a great teacher, and she has earned the respect and |
|
|
admiration of her colleagues and students alike; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cathy Duong on her selection as the |
|
|
2014-2015 Highland Park Elementary Teacher of the Year and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Duong as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
