R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, During the 84th Texas Legislature, Miranda Heck has
  ably served her fellow Texans in the office of State Representative
  Jason Isaac through the Texas A&M University Public Policy
  Internship Program; and
         WHEREAS, The program offers a unique opportunity for current
  A&M students to serve as interns in the Texas Legislature, allowing
  participants to gain a better understanding of the legislative
  process as well as their individual strengths and professional
  goals; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Heck is a senior at A&M, working toward her
  bachelor of arts in telecommunications and a minor in English; she
  has taken part in the school's Big Event, and she gives freely of
  her time and talents as a summer volunteer for the Emporium of the
  Arts in Woodville; committed to her faith, she is active in the Hope
  Groups at Living Hope Baptist Church in College Station and with the
  TAMU Campus Crusade for Christ; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Miranda Heck for her service in the
  office of State Representative Jason Isaac as a participant in the
  Texas A&M University Public Policy Internship Program and extend to
  her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her future
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Heck as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
