R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 84th Texas Legislature, Miranda Heck has |
|
ably served her fellow Texans in the office of State Representative |
|
Jason Isaac through the Texas A&M University Public Policy |
|
Internship Program; and |
|
WHEREAS, The program offers a unique opportunity for current |
|
A&M students to serve as interns in the Texas Legislature, allowing |
|
participants to gain a better understanding of the legislative |
|
process as well as their individual strengths and professional |
|
goals; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Heck is a senior at A&M, working toward her |
|
bachelor of arts in telecommunications and a minor in English; she |
|
has taken part in the school's Big Event, and she gives freely of |
|
her time and talents as a summer volunteer for the Emporium of the |
|
Arts in Woodville; committed to her faith, she is active in the Hope |
|
Groups at Living Hope Baptist Church in College Station and with the |
|
TAMU Campus Crusade for Christ; and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Miranda Heck for her service in the |
|
office of State Representative Jason Isaac as a participant in the |
|
Texas A&M University Public Policy Internship Program and extend to |
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her future |
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Heck as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
