R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Marissa Acevedo, a sixth grade student at |
|
|
Corrigan-Camden Junior High School, excelled at the University |
|
|
Interscholastic League academic meet during the 2014-2015 school |
|
|
year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Participating in the Ready Writing competition, |
|
|
Marissa earned third place honors, and her accomplishment is a |
|
|
source of great pride to her family and to her fellow students at |
|
|
her school; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued her goals with |
|
|
skill and dedication, and she may indeed look forward to a future |
|
|
bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Marissa Acevedo on her success in |
|
|
UIL academic competition and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued achievement; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Acevedo as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
