H.R. No. 843

	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Randy Aaron, Marty Dominguez, and Zach Minnix have
	been promoted within the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department, and
	this achievement indeed merits special recognition; and
	WHEREAS, Elected as the new fire chief, Mr. Aaron has been a
	dedicated member of the department since 2008; a veteran of the
	U.S. Navy, he currently works as the wastewater plant supervisor
	for the City of McGregor; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Dominguez, who has served the MVFD with
	distinction for nearly a decade, has been named 1st assistant
	chief; he has worked at Ferguson for the past 14 years; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Minnix has earned the position of 2nd assistant
	chief; employed by the Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative, he
	graduated from the Fire Academy at McLennan Community College and
	is now enrolled in the EMT program at Temple College; and
	WHEREAS, Through the years, these notable Texans have greatly
	benefited the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department, and the
	experience they have acquired along the way will serve them well as
	they take on these challenging new roles; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Randy Aaron, Marty Dominguez, and
	Zach Minnix on their promotions with the McGregor Volunteer Fire
	Department and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future;
	and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Chief Aaron, 1st Assistant Chief Dominguez, and 2nd
	Assistant Chief Minnix as an expression of high regard by the Texas
	House of Representatives.
