A JOINT RESOLUTION
  proposing a constitutional amendment to permit the attorney general
  to prosecute offenses against public administration, including
  ethics offenses, and offenses involving insurance fraud or the
  imposition of the motor fuels tax.
         BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Article IV, Texas Constitution, is amended by
  adding Section 22a to read as follows:
         Sec. 22a.  To the extent provided by general law, the attorney
  general may represent the state in the district and inferior courts
  in the prosecution of criminal and civil offenses classified by law
  as offenses against public administration, including ethics
  offenses, or as offenses involving insurance fraud or the
  imposition of the motor fuels tax.
         SECTION 2.  The constitutional amendment proposed by this
  resolution shall be submitted to the voters at the general election
  to be held November 3, 2015. The ballot shall be printed to provide
  for voting for or against the proposition: "The constitutional
  amendment permitting the attorney general to prosecute offenses
  against public administration, including ethics offenses, and
  offenses involving insurance fraud or the imposition of the motor
  fuels tax."
