Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  Reduce the Article I appropriations from the general revenue fund to the Office of the Attorney General for Strategy A.1.1, Legal Services (page I-3), by the amount of $1,000,000 for each year of the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2017.

(2)  Increase the Article I appropriations from the general revenue fund to the Office of the Attorney General for Strategy C.1.2, Victims Assistance (page I-4), by the amount of $1,000,000 for each year of the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2017.

(3)  Adjust totals and methods of financing accordingly.
