The Committee will meet to hear invited testimony on the state of higher education in Texas and the following bills:

HB 29         Branch | et al.
Relating to requiring general academic teaching institutions to offer a fixed tuition rate plan to undergraduate students.

HB 30         Branch
Relating to measures to facilitate the transfer of students within the public higher education system and the timely graduation of students from public institutions of higher education.

HB 82         McClendon | et al.
Relating to a single common course numbering system for public institutions of higher education in this state.

HB 774        Guillen
Relating to applying credit earned by a student at a general academic teaching institution to an associate's degree at a lower-division institution of higher education previously attended by the student.
