Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Water Desalination was held on Monday, June 23, 2014, in the Ortiz Center (Nueces Room).

The Committee was joined by Representative Geanie Morrison, Representative Lois Kolkhorst, and Representative J.M. Lozano.

 

Co-chair Representative Todd Hunter called the meeting to order at 10:06 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Announcements were made by Co-chair Representative Todd Hunter, Co-chair Senator Craig Estes, and Senator Hinojosa.

 

Both invited witnesses and those testifying during the public testimony section of the hearing are shown on the attached list.

The chair moved that public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 3:46 PM Representative Hunter moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
