Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Water Desalination was held on Monday, June 16, 2014, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

Co-chair Representative Todd Hunter called the meeting to order at 12:09 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Committee members provided opening remarks.

 

Both invited witnesses and those testifying during the public testimony section of the hearing are shown on the attached list.

 

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

 

 

There being no further business, at 4:00 PM Representative Hunter moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
