The chair called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The Chair recognized Olie Pope, Travis County Service Officer, to recite the United States Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of Texas.

 

Senator Davis moved adoption of the minutes from the previous hearing held on May 8, 2013; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

The chair laid out HB 633 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Davis, to explain the bill. 

Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list. The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Van de Putte moved that HB 633 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.
