Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources was held on Monday, November 25, 2013, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:38 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Chairman Fraser made opening comments regarding recent electric discussions at the Public Utility Commission of Texas.  Chairman Fraser also welcomed Senator Watson, Senator Campbell, Senator Schwertner, and Senator Van de Putte to the hearing.
