Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Finance was held on Monday, February 11, 2013, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:01 AM. The following business was transacted:

 

Senate Bill 1 was laid out as pending business.

 

Testimony was heard on Article VIII - Regulatory.  Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.

Senator Williams resumed the chair.

Public testimony was heard.

 

Senator Hinojosa moved that SB 1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 12:22 PM Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed until 9:00 AM, Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Without objection, it was so ordered.
