Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16, 2013, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips, at 5:35 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phillips; Burkett; Davis, Yvonne; Fletcher; Guerra; Harper-Brown; Lavender; Pickett; and Riddle.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1917.

 

Representative Lavender moved that SB 1917, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
