Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 25, 2013, the House Committee on Public Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Aycock, at 5:28 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Aycock; Allen; Davis, John; Deshotel; Farney; Huberty; King, Ken; Ratliff; Rodriguez, Justin; and Villarreal.

The chair directed that the March 26, 2013 minutes for the House Committee on Public Education be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
