Pursuant to a notice posted on June 18, 2014, the House Committee on Pensions met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Callegari, at 10:09 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Callegari; Alonzo; Frullo; King, Phil; and Stephenson.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The chair laid out the interim charge relating to examining the new reporting requirements proposed by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

The chair laid out the interim charge relating to oversight and monitoring of the agencies and programs under the committee’s jurisdiction and the implementation of relevant legislation passed by the 83rd Legislature.
