Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2013, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel, at 6:14 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Deshotel; Walle; Frank; Herrero; Paddie; and Parker.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

HB 325

 

The chair laid out HB 325 as pending business.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Paddie moved that HB 325, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Deshotel; Walle; Frank; Goldman; Herrero (5).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   Representatives Paddie; Parker (2).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Simpson; Springer (2).

 

HJR 54

 

The chair laid out HJR 54 as pending business.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Herrero moved that HJR 54, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Deshotel; Walle; Frank; Goldman; Herrero (5).

 

Nays:                           None (0).
