Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2013, the House Committee on Human Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Raymond, at 1:15 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Raymond; Fallon; Naishtat; Rose; Sanford; and Turner, Scott.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 45

 

The chair laid out SB 45 as pending business.

 

Representative Rose moved that SB 45, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Raymond; Fallon; Naishtat; Rose; Sanford; Turner, Scott (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Gonzalez, Naomi; Klick; Zerwas (3).

 

SB 1803

 

The chair laid out SB 1803 as pending business.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

Representative Sanford moved that SB 1803, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Raymond; Fallon; Naishtat; Rose; Sanford; Turner, Scott (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Gonzalez, Naomi; Klick; Zerwas (3).

 

At 1:18 p.m., on the motion of Representative Fallon and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
