Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2013, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harper-Brown, at 6:54 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Harper-Brown; Perry; Capriglione; Stephenson; Taylor, Van; and Turner, Scott.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 59

 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

The chair moved that SB 59, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Harper-Brown; Perry; Capriglione; Stephenson; Taylor, Van; Turner, Scott (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Vo (1).

 

At 6:55 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
