Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16, 2013, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Morrison, at 12:21 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Morrison; Miles; Johnson; Klick; Miller, Rick; Simmons; and Wu.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 315 as pending business.

 

Representative Wu moved that SB 315, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair laid out SB 722.

 

Representative Simmons moved that SB 722, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
