Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16, 2013, the House Committee on Economic & Small Business Development met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, John, at 12:23 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Davis, John; Isaac; Murphy; Perez; Rodriguez, Eddie; and Workman.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 51.

 

Representative Perez moved that SB 51, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Davis, John; Isaac; Murphy; Perez; Rodriguez, Eddie; Workman (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Vo; Bell; Davis, Yvonne (3).

 

At 12:24 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
