Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 18, 2013, the House Committee on Economic & Small Business Development met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, John, at 12:15 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Davis, John; Vo; Bell; Murphy; Perez; Rodriguez, Eddie; and Workman.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

HB 1499

 

The chair recalled HB 1499 from subcommittee.

 

Representative Perez moved that HB 1499, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair recalled HB 953 from subcommittee.

 

Representative Rodriguez, Eddie moved that HB 953, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair recalled HB 800 from subcommittee.

 

Representative Workman offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Workman moved that HB 800, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
